Carlson, Linda, K., 64 of St. Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was born on November 3, 1951. Linda loved the mountains of North Carolina, skiing in Colorado, the leaves in autumn, traveling in Europe and Egypt and she delighted in her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews who were her pleasure. Linda is survived by her father, Avery Wingert; daughter, Kimberlee Ballis; son, Matthew (Maryum) Gross; grandchildren, Valentino and Chloe Ballis, Isa, Noah and Aaron Gross; brothers, Ray (Penny) and Dwight (Barbara Jean) Wingert; sisters, Norma (John) Fries and Beverly Wingert; former husband and best friend, Dr. Ed Carlson; step-daughter, Kathryn Carlson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Wingert. A memorial gathering will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016 followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 38th Avenue North, St. Petersburg.
