Linda Gonzales May 6, 1954 �" November 27, 2008 Age: 54 Residence: Greeley, Colorado Tribute: Linda Esmerelda Gonzales was born to Joe C. and Theodora (Sanchez) Gonzales. She grew up and attended schools in Greeley; then moved to California when she was sixteen. On October 19, 1970 she married Raymundo Velasquez in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Gonzales was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She was a great influence on her children and grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and dancing with them �" usually at the same time. She also enjoyed music and crocheting. Mrs. Gonzales was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. She passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Survivors: Daughters, Lydia Guzman of Greeley, Lorraine Bonilla of Aurora, Colorado, Ericka Aparicio of Greeley; sons, Raymundo Velasquez, Anthony Velasquez and Roque Aparicio all of Greeley; her mother, Theodora Gonzales of Evans, Colorado; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Frank Gonzalez, Felipe C. Gonzalez and wife Maria all of Riverside, California, Richard Gonzalez, Phillip Gonzalez and wife Laura, Nicholas Gonzalez and wife Barbara all of Evans, Luciano Gonzalez and wife Yvonne of Greeley, Tranquillo Carrillo and George Sanchez of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Joe B. Gonzalez of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; sisters, Janie L. Gonzalez of Greeley, Guadalupe Sirio and husband Miguel and Pauline Duran and husband Leroy, all of Greeley; long time companion Antonio Chavez of Wyoming. Preceded in Death: Father and infant granddaughter. Services: Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street, Greeley .
