Linda Hanson

Linda Hanson Linda Hanson passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Centralia, WA, on January 14, 2011. She was 67. Born September 20, 1943, to Charles B. Parker and Ruby Rae Wilson in Aberdeen, WA, she was the seventh of eight children and the last surviving sibling. Linda graduated from Ocean Shores’ North Beach High School, lived in Hoquiam from 1975 to 2003, and in Centralia the past 7 years. She was married to Chuck Barker from 1961 to 1974. On June 6, 1975, she married Frank Hanson in Coeur d’Alene, ID. She was a wife, mother, homemaker, and artist (painter, sculptor). She also loved woodworking, sewing, knitting hats, and her dogs Bear and Sammy. Linda is survived by her son David (Molly) Barker, daughter Carolee Harris, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 2005; siblings Arvilla Medcalf, Gene Parker, Claire Parker, Florence Albright, Donny Parker, Leroy Parker, Danny Parker; and grandchild Justin Harris.
