Linda Flanders Henderson
July 20th, 1944 - July 24th, 2024
Linda Flanders Henderson, 80, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2024. Linda was born July 20, 1944 in Charleston, S. C. She graduated from St. Johns High School on Johns Island and attended Christopher Newport College in Newport News, Virginia. She worked for the Federal Government in Virginia for several years. She moved back to Johns Island in 1983 where she worked for Ohlandt’s Piggly and Island Storage.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Graham and Helen Flanders and brother Richard Flanders. She is survived by her children Laurie Halperin(Joe), Shannon Langston, and Jeff Henderson(Leigh), sister, Pat Stutts(Chuck) and two brothers, B. G. Flanders(April) and Rhett Flanders(Karen). She had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She had 4 nieces and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 1:00p.m. with visitation at 12:30 at First Baptist Church of Johns Island. In leu of flowers, please send memorials to First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, S. C. 29455
