Linda Ann Johnson was born in New York City on December 29th, 1951 to Paul and Erline Ewashenko. She was raised in Connecticut where she played in the changing seasons with her sister Phyllis, and her brother, Michael; which she always looked back on fondly. They came to Florida in 1968. Linda met Harry, probably on a beach playing the Beach Boys in her little polka dot bikini. He would later tell us “he couldn’t catch her cause’ of her long legs!”. They would inevitably ride into a St. Pete sunset in his Ford Falcon. They married December 11th, 1970. They raised three beautiful children, Kristine, Bryan, and Sherry. Later, they were beloved Grandparents to Danielle, Cori, Kathryn, and Madison; and Great Grandparents to Derik. Linda loved teaching and worked for the Pinellas County School system for 25 years. She loved being a mom, ROAD TRIPS and big adventures, mischief, making jewelry, gardening, baking, crosswords and BASKETS, SO MANY BASKETS; cursing the Seminoles when they would go up against the Gators, playing cards, Lifetime TV movies and laughing-heartily with her partner Harry. She loved her family, and made sure we knew it. Linda passed on Saturday, July 15, 2023 peacefully after visiting family in her home at Westminster Palms in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is welcomed on the other side by her partner and husband of 49 years, Harry Johnson, her Mother and Father, Paul and Erline Ewashenko, her in-laws, Harry and Jane Johnson, and her childhood dog Daisy. We are so grateful for our time with Linda, Sister, Mom, Aunt, Grandma, Great-Grandma. She is a woman who brought so much joy to our lives and will continue to do so in our memories; She is remembered by her siblings, Phyllis (Don), and Mike (Shelly), her sister in-law Karen (Dave), her children, Kristine (Reggie), Bryan (Carletta), and Sherry (Kevin). Her grandchildren, Danielle (Chris), Cori, Kathryn, Madison, and Derik, and her niece and nephew Jennifer (Brad), and Jeff (Jenny). As for her wishes, no service will be held.

Rest in peace my beautiful cousin Linda Ann. Condolences to my cousins Phyllis and Michael and their families on the loss of their vibrant, kind and loving sister. Condolences to Linda's children, grandchildren and great grandchild on the loss of their loving mother and grandmother. Family was important to Linda. Linda and I grew up together when we were in NYC, thru Danbury, Conn and St Pete, Florida. We spent summers and holidays together. We always had fun, lots of laughter and she always had a mischievous look in her eye. I included some pics(including the green bikini ) I found of my cousin Linda in her younger years and my condolences to her loving life partner Harry who passed before her. Cousin, you will be missed. Love you, Cousin Carole Ann
