Linda Bea Koehn

Surrounded by her loving family, Linda Bea Koehn, 69, of Evans, CO passed away and went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 14, 2013 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer for the last four years. She was born on May 23, 1944 in Memphis, TN to John C. and Beatrice (Wilson) Young. Linda grew up in Memphis and later lived in Florida and North Carolina. On November 1, 1968 she married Perry D. Koehn in Spring Lake, NC. They moved to Greeley, CO in 1976 and Linda has helped Perry manage his business, Koehn Sprinklers for the past 35 years. Linda was strong in her faith, loved the mountains, gardening, quilting, camping, playing cards and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Perry, Linda is survived by her children, Angelia Lynn Page of Greeley, Karen McKitrick Koehn of Colorado Springs, and Shawn J. Koehn (Barbi) of Pierce, CO; brothers, Jonathan C. Young (Rhonda) of Sherwood, AR, Rodney T. Young of Grand Prairie, TX; Sister, Joann DePriest (Gary) of Byhalia, MS; step-sister, Phyllis Young of Lawton, OK; father-in-law, Chester V. Koehn; brothers-in-law, Jack Koehn (LaVeta), Reed Koehn (Marge), and Ross Koehn; seven grandchildren, Rachal McCartney, Susan Heller (Myke), BreAnn Page, Caleb Page (Michaela), Christopher Koehn, Avery Koehn, and Ethan Koehn; three great grandchildren, Landon McCartney, Logan McCartney, and Damian Heller; three aunts, one uncle, several nieces and nephews, many cousins, and many wonderful friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. Services will include: Visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Adamson Chapel; Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Community Church, 1301 15th Street in Greeley; and Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greely.
