October 3rd, 1943 - February 10th, 2006
Miss Linda Lake, 62 of Gloversville, NY went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2006, after a courageous battle with diabetes. She was born October 3, 1943 in Johnstown, NY the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Lake. She was educated in local schools and employed as a private duty domestic. Linda was known for her great sense of humor and ability to always make people laugh. She was also a long time consumer advocate for mental health needs. A special thank you to her extended family and staff at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility for the loving care she received. She is survived by her sister; LouAnn Warren of Gloversville, nieces and nephews. At her request, there will be no calling hours or services. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Fulton County SPCA, 486 Stever Mills Road, Broadalbin, New York 12025. Arrangements are entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
