Linda Larsen
March 4th, 1939 - December 20th, 2018
My Life Story Linda Lue Larsen (March 04, 1939 – December 20, 2018) passed away peacefully at 79 years of age while surrounded by love. Linda was born in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Harold and Inez Holt. She traveled many places throughout her life as part of a military family. Linda was a loving wife to her husband of 25 years, William (Bill) Dooms and an amazing mother her two birth children as well as others she welcomed into her home; she considered everyone family. She loved her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who called her “great-ma.” Each was always greeted with a smile and a warm hug. During her life, she enjoyed bowling, dancing, traveling, crochet, bread making, sitting on her patio, was an excellent cook and was always happy to hang out with friends and family. Linda spent the last eight years of her life, living with Alzheimer’s. Even as the disease progressed, she never lost her sense of humor, quick wit, spunky nature and took her new life in stride. She made many friends during her stay at The Cottages of Meridian. If she could, she would send a special thank you to the care givers that cared for and loved her every day. The family requests that any donations on Linda's behalf be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at http://www.alz.org. A celebration of life will be held in early March in honor of Linda’s 80th birthday.

We Entrusted Linda Larsen's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
