"Linda G. (Ellard) McGuire, 52, of Laurel Rd. passed away November 18, 2006 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Ludlow, MA on April 22, 1954, the daughter of Beverly (Hastings) Ellard of Palmer and the late Clifford Ellard. Linda has lived in Palmer for the past 25 years, previously residing in Springfield. She has worked for the past 6 years as a food service director at Hampshire Care. Linda will be greatly missed by her husband Richard L. along with her only daughter Julie Collins of Ansonia, CT. She also is survived by her siblings, Lori LaBlanc of Springfield, Leslie Ruocchio of San Jose, CA, Lisa Champney of Springfield, Clifford Ellard of Springfield and Warren Ellard of Granby as well as seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by burial in East Wilbraham Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, Western MA Division, 59 Bobala Rd., Holyoke, MA 01040."
