Linda Jean Mrozinski
May 4th, 1947 - August 9th, 2024
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Jean Mrozinski (née Mossey), who left us on August 9, 2024. Born on May 4, 1947, in Littleton, NH, Linda brought joy and creativity into the lives she touched. She spent her final days in Palmer, MA, where she passed peacefully.
Linda’s life was rich with artistic talent and a profound appreciation for the simple joys of the world. Her artistic endeavors ranged from painting rocks, feathers, and leaves to mastering quilling and crafting beautiful Christmas globes and stockings. Linda’s artistic spirit was profoundly influenced by her training under Charles Schultz, and her creative touch was evident in every piece she crafted.
Beyond her artistic talents, Linda was known for her love of the outdoors. She found solace and joy in the beauty of nature and could often be found walking along the beach, visiting the butterfly museum, or attending tag sales and antique shops with her daughters. Her love for whale watching further symbolized her deep appreciation for the natural world.
Linda's career as a waitress demonstrated her strong work ethic and independent nature. She cherished her time alone, yet maintained an incredibly close bond with her family. Her daughters, Lori-An Cyr and her husband Donald as well as Andrea Harrington and her fiancé Ed, along with her sister Carol Sparks, four grandchildren, Jimi, David, Erik and Allyson and six great grandchildren, will forever treasure the memories they created together. Linda also held a deep and unique bond with her grandmother and aunt, valuing the generational connections within her family. She once celebrated the remarkable milestone of having five generations alive together, a testament to her enduring family ties.
She is predeceased by her parents, Carl F. Mossey and Barbara J. (Mardin).
A gathering for friends and family will be held to honor Linda’s life at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24 from 4pm-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you plant a flower in her memory, celebrating the beauty and creativity that Linda cherished throughout her life.
Linda Jean Mrozinski will be deeply missed, but her legacy of artistic expression, love for nature, and dedication to family will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
