Pleasant Garden Mrs. Linda "Darnell" Bennett Odom, 63, of Pleasant Garden, passed away on July 15, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home in Greensboro. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Estelle Bennett; her loving husband of 38 years, Charles Halden Odom and a son, Brian Dale Odom. She is survived by her sons, David Purvis Odom, James Halden Odom, Charles Robert Odom and Joshua Lynn Odom; brothers, Randy Bennett, Ted Bennett and Mike Bennett; sister, Crystal Bennett; life partner, Ronnie Lipofski; a step-daughter; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 18 at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home with the interment following at Lakeview Memorial Park.
