Linda Lee Ruscito AKA Mom / Grandma 02/10/50 -12/11/19 Linda was born to the late Wanda & Carl Jossy on a Friday, February 10, 1950 in Omaha, NE. At the time of her death she was a resident of Punta Gorda, FL. Linda was a former resident of E.Providence, RI. She then relocated to her current residence in 2017. She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. As an avid lover of Jesus Christ, Linda co-founded “Sonrise Ministries” spending time visiting Nursing Homes, Correctional facilities, Tent Meetings, Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers, and street ministry sharing the love of Christ through word and song. Throughout her years Linda spent many hours volunteering at various local churches, soup kitchens and food pantries. In 2013 Linda published an inspirational book entitled “Sunshine After Rain”. In 2016 Linda shared a powerful WWII testimony about God's love for her mother in the midst of horrific circumstances and the power of prayer that was featured on Trinity Broadcasting Network, entitled “My Story”. Linda is survived by her husband, Joseph Ruscito of Punta Gorda FL, her sister Marian Jossy of Tacoma, WA, her sister Angela Jossy of Tacoma, WA. Daughter Jacqueline Serpa (husband Michael) of New Bedford MA, son Daniel Mello of St. Petersburg, FL, son Thomas Mello (wife Lisa) of Tiverton, RI. Grand Children, James Mello, Christina Murphy, Rebecca Fortin, Samantha Serpa, Bethany Serpa, Margaret Masse, Emily Masse, Ashley Mello, Thomas Mello Jr Great Grand Children: Isaiah Mello, Anthony Hiraldo Jr., Nicholas Murphy.
