Linda Todd
April 6th, 1946 - January 2nd, 2019
Linda Ann Todd A fun-loving lady who treasured friends and family and enjoyed making everyone laugh, is forever in our hearts. Linda was born on April 6, 1946 to parents David and Linda Whispell of Kingston, NY, and was one of eleven siblings: Janice, Gertrude, David, Erving, Patricia, Robert, Nancy, Barbara, Jackie and Joann. In 1965, she married Puyallup native Jerry Lee Todd in Las Vegas and moved to San Jose, CA. There they began their family and welcomed Erin, their first child. After returning to the Puyallup Valley, their second child Elena was born, followed by Marla and finally Brett. Linda was a young mother when she was widowed in 1975 with the passing of her husband Jerry. In 1977, Linda wed Gary David Todd and together they welcomed Malea to the family. Gary and Linda enjoyed 42 years together until her passing on January 2, 2019. With great ambition and determination, Linda started her own limousine service, which she and Gary operated together as owners and drivers, for over 25 years. With her kind, caring nature and attention to detail, Ashley's Limousines was a popular choice in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Her devotion, love and fun spirit brought joy to dozens of kids at the Make a Wish Foundation, as well as prom goers and newlyweds. Her grandkids loved riding in the flower-adorned limousine as part of the Daffodil Parade and throwing candy to parade watchers. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was playful, full of energy and the consummate practical joker! You could never predict (but should always expect) an elaborate prank that involved her showing up in a silly costume or sending you on a birthday scavenger hunt. Her antics have provided lasting memories and loads of laughter. She is survived by her husband Gary, and her children and their spouses, Erin & Dean Kramer, Elena Todd, Marla Todd, Brett Todd and Malea & Corey Gibb. Grandchildren Mackenzie Kramer, Ashley Payne, Michael Payne, Andrea Entz, Alisha Todd, Trevor Littrell, Lauren Todd, Parker Gibb and Treyson Gibb. (And in addition, a very, very large shoe collection!) Friends and relatives can visit with Linda and her family Thursday January 10, 5-8 pm at Hill Funeral Home, 217 E Pioneer, Puyallup. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 11 at 1pm also at Hill Funeral Home with interment following at Woodbine Cemetery. A celebration reception of Linda’s life will follow. Linda would love for you to honor her by spreading laughter in the world.

Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services
Hill Funeral Home has been a community cornerstone since 1908, when Ernest Newville Hill, a decorated Spanish American War veteran and embalmer/funeral director, established his own funeral business in Puyallup. Starting in a two-story building on North Meridian, where he lived with his wife Mabel and their son Vernon, Ernest Hill introduced the first motor-powered funeral coaches in Pierce County, transitioning from traditional horse-drawn services....
