Linda Ann Weir

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 21st at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Fr. Camillo Garcia, officiating. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery in New Plymouth. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, August 20th at Corpus Christi, Catholic Church in Fruitland, Idaho, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Linda was born in Ontario, Oregon to Settimo and Anna (Knifer) Marostica on July 18th, 1939. She attended school in Weiser, Idaho where she graduated. She then married the love of her life, Grant Lewis Weir on November 23rd, 1962 at St. Aloysius, Catholic Church. They were blessed with three boys, grandchildren and later great-grandchildren. Linda worked in various banking and accounting capacities but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was devoted to her church and loved ones, in addition to, advocating for the mentally ill and their families by serving as the president of NAMI (Idaho). Linda enjoyed travel, shopping, genealogy, quilting, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Linda is survived by her children, Jimmy, Lewis and his wife, Jody, Paul and his wife, Mary; her brothers, Bill Marostica, George Marostica, and Raymond Marostica; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Settimo and Anna Marostica and her husband, Grant Lewis Weir.
