Obituary Linda May Williams, 60, of LaPorte, passed away on February 3, 2013 of natural causes. Linda Loyd was born to Elmo and Elenora Loyd in Lexington, Missouri on March 18, 1952. She met Cliff Williams while he was in school in Missouri in 1971 and they were married in Carrolton, Missouri on August 22, 1971. They moved to the Fort Collins area in 1972 and made their home in LaPorte. Linda worked in assembly at SKF Instruments in Fort Collins. She enjoyed outdoor activities, especially caring for her flowers and camping with her husband. Linda loved family gatherings with all of the children. The kids loved Aunt Linda! She also loved her animals. Survivors include her husband and best friend Cliff, sister-in-law Karen (Jerry) Burgess, brother Barney (Carol) Loyd, sisters Shirley (Kevin)Stephens, Ruby Parker, Rosemary (Mark) Kennedy, Sandy (Rodney) Moore and Elnora Loyd, as well as many nieces and nephews . Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. Visitation will be held at the Vessey Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, Feb.7 from 3 to 7 PM. A funeral will be held on Friday Feb 8, at 11 AM at the Masonic Lodge, 225 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins followed by a reception. Burial will be held at 2 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Berthoud, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made to the Collins Lodge #19 AF&AM in care of Vessey Funeral Service.
