Lisa Jan Housewright, 62, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 7, 2021 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She worked for many years as a waitress at several restaurants in the area. Lisa later became a caregiver and helped several families in the area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Bradshaw; brother, Terry Bradshaw; granddaughter, Kinsley Housewright; father and mother-in-law, George and Delphia Housewright; 2 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Scottie Housewright; son, Jeffery Housewright; step-son, Josh Housewright; grandchildren, Tavin and Tyler Housewright; father, Charlie Bradshaw; sister, Cathy Moffitt and husband Butch; brothers, Phil Bradshaw and wife Robin and Gene Bradshaw and wife Linda; along with a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A Funeral Service will follow with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating. A graveside service will follow at Ross Campground UMC Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill is serving the Housewright family.
