Livia A. Saraceni
August 14th, 1917 - March 5th, 2012
Livia A. Saraceni RN, 94, of Division Street, passed away Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dora D'Onofrio Saraceni. Livia was employed for a number of years as a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital where she will be remembered as a dedicated and loyal nurse and employee. Survivors include her wonderful, caring and generous sister Clorinda Kaylor of Delray Beach, Fla., as well as nieces, nephews and cousins and friends who all helped her have a wonderful life. Another sister, Maria Previdi, predeceased her. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church, 39 St. John Street. Fr. Lawrence J. Decker, celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment is in the family plot at St. Michael's Cemetery. It was Livia's request that there be no calling hours, and that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Northeast Association Of The Blind, 301 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12206.
