Lloyd Kennedy passed away peacefully on Friday June 24th. Lloyd grew up in Tacoma. He graduated from Lincoln High School and Bates Automotive School. In 1961 he joined with partner(Bert Wilson) and established Lloyd & Wilson Auto Service, which remains family owned and operated to this day.Lloyd and Elizabeth(Beth) celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year. Lloyd drove from Tacoma to Enumclaw to court his pretty "farm girl" They were blessed with five children. Ronald(Tuscon, AZ,) Charles, Robert (Denise), Daniel(Cindy) and Kathleen(William). Lloyd loved to travel and fish which he and Beth were able to enjoy in their retirement years. From motor homing to travels in Europe, Lloyd was always ready to go. Lloyd was a man of unwavering integrity and always had a moment to chat, and make a new friend. He is survived by his wife and best friend("the girl with the pretty brown eyes") Beth, sons, Ron, Bob,Dan and daughter Kathleen. Grandchildren Sean(Molly) Kennedy, Kyle Kennedy, Kjirsten Kennedy, Scott(Melissa) Kennedy, James Kennedy, Hadley Alley, Emma Alley, his brother Leroy Kennedy and many nieces and nephew. Per Lloyd's wishes there will be no service. In his memory, find someone that could use a helping hand and extend it. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center (253)566-1008
