Lois LeEllen Allen, 84, of Boise, Idaho passed from this life and into the arms of her Savior on December 22, 2014. Lois was born February 10, 1930 in Prineville, Oregon to Wayne and Helen Carey. She married her beloved husband, Donald on September 14, 1947 and shared 62 years of marriage. Lois was known by all as a gentle, kind, and loving woman who supported Donald’s ministry in Missionary Baptist Churches where he was honored to be a servant of the gospel. Lois had a beautiful singing voice which she used to praise her God. Lois is survived by her children Daniel (Frances) Allen, Sharon (Robert) Gallivan, and Sandra (Tony) Albritton; her six grandchildren Christopher (Cheri) Gallivan, Ryan (Laura) Gallivan, Jacoby (Alisa) Allen, Carey (Heidi) Allen, Jesse Albritton and Emilie Stevens; her six great-grandchildren, Naomi Gallivan, Andrew Gallivan, Leighton Allen, Marlee Stevens, Bode Allen and McKenna Stevens; her five brothers and sisters, Jim Carey, Bill Carey, Shirley Templeton, DeVonna Brown and Cheryl Strauss. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2010. A viewing will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho, Monday evening, December 29, 2014, 5:00–8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to give their sincerest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Timothy Hodges, the staff at Applewood Assisted Living, and Heart 'n Home Hospice for their kind and loving care.
