Lois Jeanette Foca

Foca, Lois Jeanette, 90 of St. Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was born in Chicago, IL, on March 9, 1926 to the late Peter A. Anderson and the late Elsa Edmund Anderson. Lois retired from Travelers Insurance Company in Chicago where she worked as Secretary for forty years. She was very active in her church, Good Shepherd Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Berwyn, IL where she played the organ on Sundays. She enjoyed helping others and was very giving and selfless. She was a devoted parishioner at Grace Lutheran Church. Lois is survived by her; children, Linda L. Walsh, Patti J. Anderson, Karen M. Peterson, Jodi M. Mauermann, Douglas M. Foca; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; dear friend, Barb Schaffer; many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husbands, Mike Foca, Frank Foca; siblings, Velago, Faith, Harriett, Ruth, and Vincent. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church, 4301 16th St North St. Petersburg, Florida 33703.
