Lois Irene Biesecker Klein, died May 12, 2016 at her home in Boise. Lois was born in Boise, ID to Ertle and Elvira Biesecker on November 9, 1921. She attended Maple Grove School and graduated from Franklin High School in 1939 and then from Boise Business University. Lois met Albert Klein and they were married November 23, 1941 in Pocatello, ID. Together they raised six children. She lived a life of service. She was a leader in many professional and church organizations, including the presidencies of Primary, Relief Society and Young Women as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She and Albert served two full-time missions together: the Mexico City North and the Arizona Tempe. She was also known as the “Eternal Room Mother” as she served in her children’s classrooms. Our dear mother and grandmother will be remembered for her needlework. Each grandchild possesses a personal, handmade quilt from their grandmother. Countless babies have worn her hand-crocheted booties, and many newlyweds and great granddaughters have received beautiful hand-crocheted doilies with a candy dish. Lois was preceded in death by her eternal companion, Albert; her parents, Ertle Biesecker and Elvira Edson; her brothers: Lyle, Ray and Claire; her dear sister, Ruth Crow, and her sister-in-law, Mary Allinger, and two grandsons: Frank Patterson and Kyle Redford. She is survived by her children: Duke Klein (Maxene), Bette Deveraux (Jim), Lola Ferkovich (Alan), Anna Patterson (Curtis), Karen Klein Redford, Bruce Klein (Monica); and her sister-in-law, Anne Biesecker. We Entrusted Lois Klein's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
