Lois Sonnenberg Of Waukesha, died of complications of Alzheimers disease on Sunday, April 03, 2011, surrounded by family at Waukesha Springs at the age of 81. Lois was the kitchen manager for the Waukesha School System for over 25 years where she loved preparing food for the students of Waukesha. She loved to knit making scarves, sweaters and afghans for her children and grandchildren. Her favorite passion was spending time with her family. Lois will be deeply missed by her husband, Ervin whom she married on May 30, 1953; her children, William (Barbara) Sonnenberg of Oconomowoc and Kim (William) Boldon of Waukesha; her grandchildren, Scott Sonnenberg, Erica (Greg) Pauly, Samantha Sonnenberg, Michelle Boldon, Kyle (Amanda) Boldon and Anna (Eric) Cihlar; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Cihlar, Rowan Cihlar and Wyatt Boldon; her sister, Dorothy Harmann of Mukwonago, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Adomaitis. The funeral service for Lois will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The visitation will be on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to th the Alzheimers Association Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, 620 S. 76 St. Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
