Lois M. Tyler-Wilcox, a pillar of strength and love for her family, entered into eternal life early in the morning on April 16, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was retired from AT&T (AIT). She worked there for many years to support her family, even on weekends and holidays. She also worked for the Waukesha County Mental Health Center and belonged to several organizations. Lois accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was a young girl. She felt her calling in life was to be a good servant to God and others, and a good steward of the truth, time, talent and treasure entrusted to her. She was a longtime active member at Elmbrook Church. She also was a member of both the Senior Activities and Thursday & Friday Fellowship Prayer and Bible Study. Lois is survived by her beloved, cherished family. Her children, Barbara (Gerald) Schaefer, Diane McCaig and Daniel Wilcox; her grandchildren, Angela (John) Csedo, Michael (Sara) Grainger, Jennifer (Gregory) Schlut, Matthew Schaefer, Amanda (David) Peters, Laurel Wilcox, Zachary (Jamie) Bruchman and Christina (Stephan) Thomas; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Hope Williams, Autumn Grainger, Mackenzie LaFlash, Gavin LaFlash, Collin Schlut, Tyler Schlut and Caitlin Schlut; her siblings; Shirley (the late Wayne) Wardrop, Janice (the late Jacob) Blumer, Roland "Buster" (the late Illamae) Tyler, Sandra (John) Peterson, and Bette (the late James) Gantz. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson Nathan Grainger. The visitation for Lois will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12NOON, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Doug Schoen will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151 (please meet at the cemetery). In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the family are appreciated.
