Lola Mae Ladwig
February 26th, 1941 - December 6th, 2020
Lola Mae Ladwig, age 79, long-time resident of Englewood, Colorado passed away at Orchard Park Health Care Center on Saturday, December 6, 2020. Lola was born February 26, 1941 in Elwood, Nebraska to Clifford and Vera Haney and was the oldest of two children (younger sister Beverly). Lola was a very proud Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She met her husband Jon Ladwig (deceased in 2020) while he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, CO in 1964 and the two of them would go on to celebrate 56 years of marriage. Lola worked in numerous sales positions and retired from 3M. After her retirement, Lola worked as a Paraprofessional for the Cherry Creek School District assisting kids with physical and developmental disabilities. Lola absolutely loved spending time with her Grandkids and GreatGrandkids and was particularly fond of driving in her convertible Ford Mustang with the top down. Lola is survived by her three sons Scott Ladwig (Margaret “Peggy”), Jeffrey Ladwig (Jodi), and Mark Ladwig (Tonya); her nine grandchildren Matthew Ladwig (Moonie Kim), Andrew Ladwig (Ashley), Allison Harris (Wayman), Nicholas Ladwig, Daniel Ladwig, Brian Ladwig, Timothy Ladwig, Taylor Ladwig, and Mark Ladwig, Jr.; and three great-grandchildren Lola Robin Ladwig, Alexie James, Aurora Harris and her younger sister Beverly Fuhrmann (Robert). Lola’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2:00pm at Cherry Hills Community Church - Dixon Chapel, 3900 Grace Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. Reception to immediately follow at Mark and Tonya Ladwig’s home. (**Please note - Out of respect and wellbeing of our guests and in accordance with current COVID-19 pandemic regulation/recommendations, please be prepared to maintain social distancing and wear face masks as required by the facilities.)
