Loman Thornal Park
October 13th, 1934 - September 7th, 2024
Loman Park, 89, of Morrison, CO passed away September 7, 2024. Loman was born to Loran and Vivian (Thornal) Park on October 13, 1934 in Denton, TX. He attended high school in Krum Texas where he graduated as Valedictorian. He went on to the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On June 5, 1957 he married Patricia Steege in Mankato, MN. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage together. Loman’s career as an aerospace engineer spanned 35 years at Boeing, Aerojet General and Martin Marietta. After retirement, Loman enjoyed spending time on the golf course and travelling with Pat. They were prolific travelers, visiting 57 different countries around the world.
Loman is survived by his wife Patricia Park; daughter Lauren Nylund of Orcutt, CA; daughter Kristyn Park of Napa, CA; grandsons, Zachary Nylund, Brandon Nylund and Parker de Ocampo; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Nylund and Luke Nylund.
A memorial service for Loman will be held 1:30 pm on October 8, 2024 at Foothills Bible Church in Littleton, CO. A reception with light refreshments will follow.
