Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services - Ladson
Lorie L. Coker
December 19th, 1939 - August 21st, 2024
Our father, Lorie L. Coker, fondly known as Roy, passed away at his home on August 21, 2024. He was born to Lorie and Juanita Coker on December 19, 1939 in Sumter South Carolina. Roy was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather. He was a proud United States Navy veteran and a longtime business owner of both Roy’s Kar-Kare and Roy Coker Trucking.
Sadly, Roy was predeceased by his parents, wife, two sisters, and a brother. His memory will forever be held in the hearts of his surviving family: children Derral (Joette), Melissa, Cindy (Duffy), Janet (Rodney); six grandchildren Casey, Nicholas, Cory, Madeline, Julia, and Allison; seven great grandchildren; brother Keith, sisters Wilma, Betty, Judy, and Fay; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the team of Agape Care. They gave exemplary attention and devotion to our father during his time, at home, on hospice.
As per Roy’s request, a funeral nor memorial service will be held.
