Lorraine Anglus May 16, 1915 - April 22, 2011 On the eve of April 22, 2011 Lorraine left this world on her own terms to continue her journey. With caregivers who loved her by her side she passed peacefully into the night. Lorraine will be remembered fondly by those who understood her fierce will and determination. Lorraine spent a lifetime striving for perfection in an imperfect world. Lorraine had tremendous support from her close friends, caregivers, and her niece Tina Vargas. The wonderful people in her life enabled her to pass with dignity in her own home. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Anglus on April 25, 2001. They were married for 62 years. Clayton and Lorraine volunteered many years of their time at the Live Oak Senior Center. We would like to give our special thanks to Lorraine's caregivers who gave her such good care and love during difficult times. We would also like to give appreciation to Hospice and Dr. Mindy White for their care and support. A memorial will be held at Pacific Gardens Chapel at 1050 Cayuga Street in Santa Cruz on May 23, 2011 at 11:00. Contributions are preferred to Hospice of Santa Cruz.
