Forde, Lorraine D. 86, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009. She was a volunteer at Lynch Elementary in St. Petersburg for 20 years and 6 years at Lincoln Middle School in Gainesville. She served in the Navy during WWII. She was a supporter of Christian Children's Fund and Christian Foundation of Children and Aging. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Joseph Forde, parents, and 4 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Baum, Sheryn Davis, Terry Stivers, and Tina Forde; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 siblings. A viewing will be held on Mon., Nov. 2, 2009 from 6 - 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at Anderson McQueen Family Tribute Centers, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. A funeral mass will be held on Tues., Nov. 3, 2009 at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200-78th Avenue NE. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association.
