Lorraine Victoria Gagne
January 1st, 1923 - December 15th, 2014
"Granby - Lorraine V. (Lessard) Gagne, 91, of West St., died at home on December 15, 2014 in the loving care of her daughter Melanie. She was born January 1, 1923 in Willimantic, CT, daughter of Felix and Aurora (Bedard) Lessard. She lived in Springfield and W. Springfield before moving to Granby in 1955. She was deeply devoted to her family and her joy was to be with them. She is survived by her son, Lester Gagne and wife Maureen of Chicopee and two daughters, Cecilia Laporte and Melanie Lastowski and husband John all of Granby. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Gagne, son Randy Gagne, brothers Theodore and Lester Lessard and son-in-law Brien Laporte. Lorraine also leaves her loving dog of 11 years, Seabiscuit. Calling hours will be on Thursday, December 18 from 4:00 - 7:00 at the Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m.. A graveside service will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m at West Cemetery in Granby. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Noble Visiting Nurses and Hospice Services, 77 Mill St., Suite 201, Westfield, MA 01085. For more information please visit www.beersandstory.com. "
