Lorraine Marie Laviolette

February 15th, 1929 - May 30th, 2024

Lorraine Laviolette, a long time resident of Wilbraham and a Villages snowbird for over 25 years, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024 at the age of 95 with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.  Born in Palmer on February 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Gene and Bertha Lynn. Lorraine retired from Eastman Manufacturing. She loved to tend her flower gardens, and raised prized Alpine goats with her husband Raymond which they showed at many fairs. Lorraine loved the dance floor and she was an accomplished line dancer in the Villages Squares. She was probably one of the oldest girls there to dance her last dance at 94. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and attending sporting events with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond and her son Donald. Lorraine leaves her sister June, daughter Lori and husband Robert Belliveau, and her sons Bruce and David. She also leaves 8 cherished grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. We would like to thank Baystate Hospice Nurse Diane for the compassionate care and service she provided us during this difficult time. Honoring Lorraine's wishes, there will be no calling hours and a private family burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
