Lorraine Marie (Cickery) Milanese Lorraine passed away on early morning of November 21, 2019 in Viera Florida. She was surrounded by her husband Gino Milanese, Sons Steven and Christopher Milanese, Daughter in Law Jill and grand-daughter Alicia, as well as the outstanding Viera Hospital staff who did everything in their power to save lorraine. While not physically present, she was also surrounded by thoughts and love from other family members and friends who wanted to desperately be there. Lorraine was born on January 22, 1949 to Luke Chickery and Clara Dizillo Chickery. A 1966 graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and former employee of IBM where she was an efficient and extremely well organized secretary. She met Gino Milanese in Junior year in high school and were married September 23, 1967. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt whose sole purpose in life was “to make everyone happy”. She would always say to her husband “G” as long as they’re happy that’s all that counts”. She called her husband “G” because it was easier to say then Gino. Lorraine made an impact on many of her friends with a caring and a genuinely loving attitude. She loved to give advice to those who asked and did so with calmness and love. Lorraine loved to take care of her family and home. Everything had to be in its place, cleaned and organized. Whatever anyone needed she had it and knew exactly where it was. Lorraine is survived by her husband Gino of Florida, Her sons Christopher Gino Milanese and wife Jeanette, Steven Dominic Milanese, and wife Jill Milanese also from Florida as well as a Sister Linda Jones who reside in North Carolina with her husband Tom. She was blessed with seven grandchildren Adriana, Alicia, Gino, Vincenzo, Derek, Conor and Lacey and one great grandchild. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, brother-in laws and sister-in- laws and many dedicated friends in the United States and Italy. A special thank you to the Viera fire and rescue team who did their best to save Lorraine. God Bless You all. Funeral services will be provided by Beckman-Williamson Funeral. There will not be a viewing at the Funeral Home and a Celebration of her life will be held on December 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in Viera Florida. Lorraine’s ashes will be sent to St. Peters Cemetery in Poughkeepsie New York where a funeral service will be held at the Cemetery on December 19, 2019 at 10:00 am.
