Lorraine "Frank" Lee Walmer

Lorraine, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 18, 2010. She was born in April 8, 1929 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Both her father and late husband, Jake, were retired from the US Army. She is survived by her daughter, Susan W. Burton DMD, of Lexington, Kentucky, her son Bruce K. Walmer of Tacoma, 3 granddaughters- Kirsten Holloway of Hamilton, Ohio, Michelle Romero of Louisville, Ky, and Rachel DuFour of Dayton, Ohio, 1 grandson-James K. Walmer of Tacoma, 1 great grandson- Benjamin Holloway of Hamilton, Ohio, and her beloved toy poodle Claudette. She was a member of Praise Covenant Church, McChord Club, Eagles Auxiliary #3, VFW Auxiliary #969, Razzle Dazzle Red Hats, Eastern Star #198, Past Guardian of Bethel #27 of Jobs Daughters, Past Worth President of the Social Order of the Beaucent. Lorraine loved to bake, play Maj Jong and Bingo, participate in meat raffles, knit/crochet, and speed read novels. She thanks Madigan for all the care she received from Dr. Arnold and Mr. Green of Family Practice. Services to be at a later date.
