Lottie T. Kozlowski
January 25th, 1922 - September 24th, 2012
Lottie T. Kozlowski, 90, of Grand Street, passed away Monday evening at St. Mary's Hospital with her loving family and dear friends at her side. Born in Amsterdam on January 25, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Pabis Goch, she was educated in city schools and lived here her entire life. Lottie worked as a sewing machine operator for Rose Snell Gloves, Fownes Bros. and later retired from Coleco Industries. She was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus' Roman Catholic Church and was a member of its Ladies Rosary Society and the St. Stan's Seniors. Lottie loved socializing and polka dancing, she also was fond of visiting family at the lake where she enjoyed swimming and boating. She loved to bake and cook, sharing her delicious Polish recipes with her family, who meant the world to her. She truly will be missed. Her husband, John Kozlowski whom she married on April 27, 1946, predeceased her on November 19, 1978. She also lost her brother, Edward Goch. Lottie leaves her family; sons Robert J. Kozlowski of Winter Garden Fla., and Gary and his wife Mary Ann Kozlowski of Amsterdam; grandchildren Gary Kozlowski Jr., John "JJ" Kozlowski and Kayla Kozlowski Weinkiper and her husband Mark; sister in law Carrie Goch Pederquist, and her niece Janet Goch Cooper . Services are Thursday at 8:15 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass Of Christian Burial at 9:15 am at St. Stanislaus' Church. Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis, celebrant. Interment is in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery. Calling hours are today Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. The St. Stanislaus' Rosary Society will gather at 4:15 pm for a prayer service. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Stanislaus' Church in care of the funeral home office.
