"Palmer - Lottie J. (Smith) Wojnilowicz , 86, of Birch St. in Three Rivers, passed away on August 22, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Palmer on June 2, 1927, she was the daughter of William F. and Lydia C. (Trumble) Smith. Lottie has lived in Palmer for all of her life and as a young girl enjoyed hunting and fishing with her father and brothers. For a few years, Lottie worked at Tambrands and then went on to raising her family and babysitting for numerous children throughout the years. Lottie loved racing pigeons and was part of the former Palmer Racing Pigeon Club and was a member of the Second Congregational Church. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years, John, along with her two children, Doreen Arsenault and her husband "Doc" of Athol, David and his wife Lisa of Three Rivers along with grandchildren Kevin Brooke and wife Pauline of Three Rivers, Amiee Jarnagan and husband Curt of Ware, Megan Minshew and husband Mitchell of Ware as well as great grandchildren, Joey, Gussy, Mason, Bailey, Zander and Isabella. Lottie also leaves her brother Henry Smith of Palmer, sister Leta Bisnette of Monson, brother-in-law Michael Wojnilowicz of Palmer, and sister-in-laws Mary Conant of Palmer and Stephanie Jensen of Three Rivers. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a service to close. Burial will be private. For those wishing, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice."
