Louis Burell Clark

In Beloved Memory of Louis Burrell Clark who passed away peacefully at home with family at the age of 88. He's survived by his wife of 67 years Ethel Clark, Sister Barbara Cockrill, his children Bonnie (Clark) Copp, Dale Clark, and Terrie (Clark) O'Connell. He's Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Louis was born in Santa Cruz and lived most of his life here. Louis served in the Navy during WWII, and again during the Korean War. He was on both the USS Roosevelt, and USS Toledo during his service. Louis worked many years at Portland Cement Company, which became Lonestar Industries and now CEMEX Cement. Living in Santa Cruz Louis always bad a love of the ocean, Swimming, fishing, and he was an avid abalone diver. Louis can best be remembered for his woodworking, making children's toys, rocking horses, and children's furniture, which was his passion after retirement. Louis' love, humor, and strength will be forever remembered by all his family, friends, and anyone who was blessed to know him.
