Louis Garcia

Louis Garcia, 85, of Erie, Colorado, past away July 2, 2023 at his home. He was born November 4, 1937 in Rociada, New Mexico, to Jose and Maria (Martinez) Garcia. He married Euphemia Garcia (Montano) on July 4, 1964 and the couple made their home in Erie. Louis served honorably in the Army in Germany and was a superintendent for Jose Garcia Construction prior to his retirement. He loved gardening, cooking, hunting, fishing, gambling talking to friends and spending time with his grandson. He is survived by his son Anthony Garcia, his wife Marty Lea and their son Colton. He is also survived by his brother Jose Garcia, his wife Claudia and their children, his sister Jessie Madera, her husband Isaias and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Euphemia Garcia and his sister Mary Rose Montoya (Garcia). Visitation will be at 8:30 am, Recitation of the Rosary 9:00 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on July 11, 2023 at Saint Scholastica Catholic church in Erie, Colorado.
