Louis C. Hill

Louis C Hill, Jr, age 87, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 25, 2018. He was born on October 22, 1930 in Washington, DC, to the union of Louis C. Hill, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Hill. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Damaris; daughter Dianne; sister Norita; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Louis served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After his service in the military, he went to work for Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, CA. retiring after 37 years of service as a Nuclear Quality Control Inspector. He met Damaris in San Francisco, CA and they were married on February 14, 1987; they moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1990. During his retirement he enjoyed playing his piano, working in his shop, and riding his motorcycle (Can-AM). He will be remembered for being an impeccable dresser and excellent craftsman. He will also be remembered fondly for his delightful sense of humor and wittiness. He will forever be in our hearts! A memorial service will be held at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 3, 2018. Following the mass, a reception will be held at the church hall. Â Flowers can be sent to the church address on the day of the service.
