Louis Molnar

MOLNAR, Louis G., 82, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016. He was born May 16, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Louis G. and Mary (Riley) Molnar. Louis is survived by his significant other of sixteen years, Elaine Huerter; two brothers, Thomas Molnar (Julie) and Father Jude Molnar, T.O.R.; and his sister Liz Lamatrice. Louis is also survived by his daughters, Holly Ruhlig (David), Beth Molnar, Linda Dier, Nancy Patterson (Bill), and Deborah Garber (Alan); and step-daughter, Stephanie Meid (Tom) as well as his five grandchildren, Garrett Ruhlig, Wyatt Ruhlig, Eric Garber, Audrey Garber Warren, and Matthew Dier; one great grand-daughter, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Louis was pre-deceased by his brother Karl Molnar and sister Margaret Kuczek. Louis served 42 years in the Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant before retiring in 1993. He also attended Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Louis worked for 62 years, most notably in local real estate. He started Lake Padgett/Land O’ Lakes Realty which became Coldwell Banker Advantage Team Realty, and Planning Counselors, INC. Louis was previously employed by the Orange County (FL) School District, GTE Data Services, AT&T and Ohio Bell. His first job was in a grocery store as a teenager, which he took to help support his mother and siblings. Louis will be deeply missed by his family, friends and colleagues. A graveside service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at Florida National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
