Retired Major L.W. (Bill) Pelzer, 77, of Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, December 3rd, 2009. Bill was born December 15th, 1931 in Houston, Texas. Major Pelzer served in the United States Army for 20 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sue Pelzer; six children, Tina Propst, Debbie Van Truen, Mary Pelzer, Katy Prats, Barbara Lee, and Harry Pelzer and five step-children, El, Donna, Sandy, Mike, and Susan. A memorial will be held on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 2:00pm-4:00pm at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home 101 N. Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach. Major Pelzer's burial service with full military honors will be held on February 9th, 2010 at 3:00pm at Arlington National Cemetery.
