November 9th, 1929 - June 24th, 2019
"Granby - Louis J. Robert, 89, died on June 24, 2019. Born November 9, 1929 in Holyoke, MA son of the late Louis and Lillian (Goyette) Robert. He was raised in Granby and lived in Florida for a few years before returning to Indian Orchard. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War as well as served in the US Army. Louis owned a trucking company for many years. He will be deeply missed by his brother, Gerald Robert and his wife Linda of Granby, his loving friend Marilyn Spaman and her family, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Maureen McKay and 3 brothers, Henry, George and Francis Robert. A Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (please meet directly at the church) followed by burial in Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 1:00 p.m. For those wishing to honor his memory, please make donations to Immaculate Heart of Mary, 256 State St., Granby, 01033.
