Cindy Millard

I am a Child Life Specialist at Shriners Hospitals for Children and have worked closely with Kent during his years as a volunteer. He was such an asset! He had a way of helping the parents and children feel at ease (by sharing his trains and his heart). We miss him very much! His dedication will never be forgotten.

Bill Mason (L&N Bill) Pensacola, Fl.

Candle lit by Bill Mason (L&N Bill) Pensacola, Fl. Kent & I were good model railroad buddys over the enternet. We swapped train ideas & pictures by email for years after he moved to Portland. I met him tru Ernie Cline, a close friend & modeler here in Fl. Ernie knew Kent from their time in Puerto Rico. Ernie passed away several years ago, so it took me a while to find out what happened to Kent when the emails stopped. I sure will miss him & the friendly emails he sent my wife & me. We knew Kent for 55 years! He was a high school friend, a college room-mate, a compatriot to touch base with over the years, and a reason to visit Portland whenever we could. It was always refreshing to share perspectives on trains, cats and life.
