Louise Marie Flowers
June 23rd, 1939 - June 10th, 2018
Louise Marie (Eagleton) Flowers of Punta Gorda passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018 surrounded by her family. Louise was born in Robinson, Illinois to Lester and Eunice Eagleton on June 23rd, 1939. After the death of her mother Louise and her family moved to Punta Gorda, Fl in 1955. Louise attended and graduated from Charlotte High School in 1957 and was CHS Homecoming Queen and Miss Charlotte County. In 1962 she married Calvin Flowers. Louise, also known as Weezie or Momma Weeze by many students and faculty worked for the Charlotte County School Board for 32 years. Most of her time was served at Charlotte High School in the Attendance Office where she touched numerous lives. Weezie loved sewing and making country crafts when she wasn't busy chasing after Calvin who passed in 2012. Louise is survived by her sister Donna (Bill) Cummins, sister-in-law Shirley (Edgar) Hall; Three sons Kevin Flowers, John (Erin) Flowers, and Michael (Kimberly) Flowers; Grandchildren Justin, Tina, Sheldon, Jimmy, Michaela, Kylie, Cade and Colby; and several great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life for Louise will be held at Church of God of Prophecy 662 Cooper St. Punta Gorda, Fl, 33950 Saturday June 23rd, 2018 at 10:00 am, main service will begin at 11 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
