Loxley Fitzroy Smith

Loxley was 80 years old when he passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home in Tampa, Florida, on September 23, 2023. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew. Loxley was a caring man with a heart for everyone. His pleasant, fun-loving, and joyful personality will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. He is preceded in death by his brothers Sedrick Smith, Valentine Long, Sonny Jim and sisters Amy Russell and Thora Becker. He is survived by: Sons: Dwight Smith, Oral Smith, Ashel Smith, Lanceroy Smith, Darryl Smith and Duwayne Smith Daughters: Denise Crawford (nee Smith), Ellorine Jershun (nee Smith), Colleen Hunter (nee Smith) Brothers: Denzil Smith and Courtney Smith Sisters: Beverly Ebanks, Loraine Smith-Barker, Kaylene Carson and Antalia Smith Twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on October 7, 2023, at Loyless Funeral Home. Viewing will be at 11:00 am with memorial service at 12 noon. Following the memorial service, there will be a repass dinner to reminisce, celebrate and honour Loxley’s life. Venue for repass will be: Arbor Greene Clubhouse, 18000 Arbor Greene Drive, Tampa, FL 33647.
