Lucille Barnes, 1929 - 2017 Melbourne, FL Formerly of Sidney, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12th , 2017. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sheldon, and their children: Linda and her husband Gene, Eatonton, Georgia; Charles and his wife Vicki, Bakersfield, California; Margaret and her husband Lawrence, Orlando, Florida; and Laurie, Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her grandchildren: Andrew, Chris, Steven, Elaine, Amy, Michael, Matthew, Erika and David, and their families and 10 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Walter and his wife June, Colombia, South Carolina; and predeceased by her parents, Hazel and Walter Canfield, Sidney, New York; and her sister Margaret "Peggy", and her husband Thomas, Unadilla, NY. Lucille was a retired beautician and manager of her husband's private medical practice and worked to support her family and put her husband through medical school. She was a long time member of Suntree Methodist Church, where there will be a memorial service at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2017, followed by a reception and burial ceremony at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
