Lucille Baucom Cameron

Lucille Baucom Cameron, 89. My Beautiful Mother went home January 26, 2021, after a lengthy and courageous struggle with Dementia. She was born August 29, 1931 in Marshville, NC. After graduating she moved to Charlotte. There she worked for 38 years for Southern Bell (AT&T), and another 8 years for Nations Bank(Bank of America). She was a very hard worker. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her Grand and Great Grandchildren. Always wanted to feed everyone that came to her home. She didn't want to see anyone in need. She was very kind to everyone she met. We could all learn from her being so kind. She also loved animals, especially her dog, "Daisy-Mae". She will be missed by all that was blessed to know her. Until we meet again. Rest easy, Mom. She is survived by her Brother Lloyd Baucom(Joan) of Charlotte NC; Daughters; Sharon Gilleland (John) of Troutman NC, Wendy Clark(Joshua) of Indian Land SC. Six Grandchildren; David Gilleland(Karen) of Denver NC, Alex Gilleland of Lincolnton NC, Darrell Drake(Pina)of Toronto,Canada, Richard Drake(Jen) of Rock Hill, SC, Cody Howery (Shannon) of Indian Land SC, Christina Howery of Indian Land SC.Four Great Grandchildren; Lily and Damian Drake of Rock Hill, SC, Isabella Vinson and Brooklyn Howery of Indian Land SC.
