Lucille Madison

Obituary Lucille Madison 97, of Windsor, CO passed away peacefully on July 8th ,2019. Lucy was born February, 25th, 1922 in northern Michigan to Joseph Koschmider and Ethel Winans. Lucy loved traveling, hiking, hummingbirds, flowers, square dancing, and crossword puzzles. One of her favorite things was to spend time in Estes Park with her family and stay at Pine Haven cabins. During her late husband's military years of World War II she had the opportunity to travel the world. Her daughter and only child was born in Heidelberg, Germany. She loved her late husband and family dearly and in the last few years enjoyed time with her daughter, grandson, and great grandson. She is preceded in death by siblings Douglas, Carl, Kenneth, Edward, Barbara, and Nancy as well as her husband William W. Madison, grandson Justin Howie, and son-in-law John Howie. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Howie, grandson Jeremy Howie, and great grandson Freedom Howie all of Windsor, CO as well as one brother Ronald and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 11am on July 23rd at Fort Logan National Cemetery where she will laid to rest next to her late husband Bill who passed away 30 years prior.
