Lucille Morse, age 74, of Gloversville passed away on Sunday August 1, 2010 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was born in Gloversville, NY on May 29, 1936 the daughter of the late Pete and Leona Ferguson Christiano. On March 7, 1957, Lucille married William F. Morse Sr. They shared 51 years united in marriage until his passing on August 27, 2008. Lucille enjoyed traveling to Vermont with her kids and her sister. She also enjoyed cooking. She was loved taking care of her cats and rabbits. Lucille was affectionately known by many as the "Cocoa Lady". Lucille is survived by her four sons: William J. Morse Sally of Gloversville, William F. Morse Jr. Gail of Fort Johnson, Fred D. Morse Jem of Gloversville, Pete W. Morse Fawn of Gloversville, a daughter, Lucy L. Blanchard Bill of Johnstown, as well as 9 grandchildren: Marj, Zach, Susan, Mellissa, Debbie, Caitlin, Bobbie, Billy and Austin. Additional survivors include a brother, Anthony Christiano Linda, two sisters Angelina Krester Bill, Theresa Christiano and two great grandchildren Savannah and Collin as well as one great granddaughter on the way, Alana. Friends and relatives are invited and may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. Interment will take place in Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
