Lu Napier passed away peacefully on May 25, 2012 after a 9 month battle with cancer. She was born on May 2, 1964 in Tacoma, WA, the 8th child to Eugene and Edith Nollan. Lu was preceded in death by her father, Gene Nollan. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 23 years, Dennis Napier; Lu’s sons- Corey Nollan and Tyler Napier; Lu’s daughters -Nadia Napier and Nicole Napier; and only grandchild- Isabella Nollan. Also included is Lu’s Mother, Edith Nollan. Brothers: Eugene (Joe) Nollan, Tom Nollan, Ralph Nollan, Doug Nollan, Randy Nollan, Mike Nollan, and Joe Cooper-Silvis; Lu’s only sister, Kathy Grenz, and all of their spouses. Also included is a ‘herd’ of nieces and nephews. Not to be forgotten are the many, many friends Lu has made over the years. Lu spent 19 years at Pierce County Medical in Tacoma, WA. She walked away with many friendships. Lu was a lover of the outdoors and of animals of all sorts. Her heart was as big as the world and was always taking care of someone else, leaving her needs on the back burner. Lu would also like to remind people to ‘Shut up’ when you get too loud, as she is famous for this phrase. Now that Lu is an angel above, we can all say she’s left a stamp of love on our hearts. Lu’s request of everyone is to wear bright and colorful clothes to her celebration and to remember her laughter and sense of humor without any tears as Lu will always remain in our hearts. Please make any donations in Lu Napier’s name to the Cancer Society. A Celebration of Lu’s life will be held on: Saturday June 9th 2012 at 11:00 A.M. At the Lakeview Chapel, 4606 108th Street SW Lakewood, WA 98499
