Lucille “Pat” Telford was born, Oct. 21, 1923, in Murry County, MN. The youngest daughter of Albert & Fannie (Chapman) Telford. She grew up in Canby, MN on the family farm. After graduation she went to Marshall MN to teach in a school house. She and her sister Hazel saved up & bought a new car & joined her brother Ray in Inglewood, California. She got a job and stayed. Always with a smile & a song she had an active lifestyle. Some of her life enjoyments were bike riding, walking and dancing. It was at one of these dances she met 2nd husband Andy Weber. They married on 11/30/1973. Together they built a house in Topanga Canyon, California. In 1978 they moved to Springfield, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Charles “Bud” and Ray Telford. Sister Hazel Reneau, Husband Andrew Weber, Daughter Colleen West, Great grandson Todd N Ghent. Survivors include daughter Kelly West (New Mexico), Grandson Todd Ghent, Many Great grandchildren & Great great Grandson, numerous nieces & nephews, her “neighborhood family” In Shangri-la and her much loved cat Lilly. Even in her 90’s she loved life and lived to the fullest. She was blessed with good health and had an amazing memory. She was the family historian & often called on for information. She was always ready with a family story. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Andy, May 17, 2021, at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Per her wishes there will be no funeral. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. She will forever be missed. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
