A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park for Mary Lucy Manning. Mrs. Manning passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008. She was 91. Born April 29, 1917 in Bulvrie, Missouri, she came to Chico in 1952, working various jobs including farming and housekeeping. Lucy enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. She is survived by a son, Donald Manning of Lakeside, Oregon and two daughters, Joyce Irons of Capay, CA and Peggy Manning of Chico; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandson.
